Our Story

Here, at FAJ Junk Removal, we prioritize reuse, donation, and recycling to give unwanted items a second life and minimize our collective environmental impact.

Nik Evans, the founder of FAJ Junk Removal, realized just how much really goes to the landfill when he was helping his friend clear out and remodel their house. Due to the urgency of the remodel and a new baby on the way, there wasn't time to sift and sort through the materials.

While on a visit to the dump during his time working in construction, Nik witnessed firsthand how much reusable material gets tossed away by other junk removal companies. Scrap metal ready to be made into something new, usable pieces of furniture, and textiles all went in the same hole as construction materials and household waste.

It sparked a realization: every action counts. What someone considers junk could be a treasure for someone else. Donating usable items gives them a new life, and recycling materials is far more energy-efficient than creating new ones from scratch. For us, sending things to a landfill only to have someone else mine new resources just doesn't make sense.

That's why we started this eco-friendly junk removal service. We're passionate about diverting as much as possible from landfills -- here's how we do it:

  • Repurpose and Donate: We sort through your unwanted items and find new homes for anything that can be reused or donated. Things like construction materials, household items, furniture, and clothes can all find new homes in other peoples lives.

  • Recycle Right: We recycle all recyclable materials, keeping them out of landfills and entering them back into the production cycle. Scrap metal, electronics, and even textiles can be recycled into new items.

  • Responsibly Dispose: Only what truly cannot be reused, repurposed, or recycled gets sent to a landfill.

Together, let's make a real impact. FAJ Junk Removal prioritizes reuse, donation, and recycling to divert waste and minimize our environmental footprint. This means your cleanout benefits both your space and the planet.
